Yesterday, I spoke about setting goals. It’s one thing to simply think about your goals, but producing a concrete image of them more than doubles their likelihood of coming to fruition. The more you write down these goals, the deeper they become engraved into your subconscious mind. Sooner or later, what once seemed far off is suddenly within arm’s reach.
In the commonly misunderstood poem, “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost, the speaker comes to a fork in the road and is forced to make a decision. Many people falsely assume he takes the lesser traveled path, but in reality each road is equally trodden. Moreover, the speaker ultimately regrets not venturing down the road not taken, knowing that an opportunity to take that road may not present itself again.
We all experience hard times in life, at times causing us to question the path or paths we’ve chosen. There’s no point circling back; however, because every setback is just a setup for success. Stay motivated, stay driven, and…
Envision what it is that you want.
Engage in proactively pursuing that goal.
Excel once the goal is achieved.
