You’re never truly stuck…even in quicksand you’re constantly moving.
I get it. Sometimes you struggle. Sometimes you feel like no matter how hard you work, the results just won’t come, and anytime you catch a break something else comes up.
This.
is.
life.
You can complain.
You can give up.
Or you can make a decision to get rid of excuses and dig your way out of the quicksand.
“I want to get in shape but I don’t have enough time” or “I want to travel but I don’t have enough time” or “I want to read but I don’t have enough time”…The time is now. What you don’t have is the luxury to waste any more time. The time is today! Make a commitment to start small, with whatever it is you may want time for, and work your way up.
“I’d love to join a gym but it’s too expensive.” or “I want to eat healthy but I just can’t afford it.” or “I could really use a vacation but I don’t have the money right now.” One of the wisest things my father ever said to me was in regard to money. I was complaining about something finance-related when he said:
“When it comes to money, you never have enough…but you always have enough.”
Confucius said:
“He who says I can, and he who says I can’t…are usually both correct.”
Limits exist only in our minds. Remain positive and never allow yourself to sabotage your success with negative thoughts.
