We’ve all been there. You feel trapped. The walls start closing in. There’s no escape…that awkward moment when you’re speaking to someone with the dreaded dragon breath. You know…breath so bad it slowly starts to melt your face. Ironically, in my experiences, these conversations always seem to drag on much longer than you would like. You try to politely cut the conversation short and bring it to a close, but then they hit you with the, “Oh, and guess what else…” line, as they maintain the barrage of dragon breath bullets upon your face. You go on…and in a continued effort to bring the discussion to an end and not inhale the unpleasing air, you ditch the idea of being polite and revert to plan B—short, insincere responses…
“Uh-huh.”
“Really.”
“Wow.”
…also incorporating the occasional head nod and turn and cough (which become more frequent as you are actually gasping for air).
Eventually, the person on the opposite end of the conversation takes the bait and asks the question you’ve been waiting for, thus providing the opportunity for an escape, “Are you okay, you seem to be coughing a lot?”
“Really?!? I hadn’t noticed…but now that you mention it, my throat is a bit dry and I should probably go grab something to drink” you quickly reply. Followed by, “But it’s been great talking with you…take care!” And you flee the scene. Exit stage left…deep breath…pop in a breath mint to make sure you don’t end up being “that person.”
But what if you don’t have breath mints? What if you don’t have chewing gum? How can you avoid being “that person”? The solution is simple, kill the odor causing bacteria that ignite the dragon breath flames.
Apple Cider Vinegar (an additional ACV recipe can be found here)
Rose Water
1 Spray Bottle
Pour a small amount of the ACV into the spray bottle and dilute it with the rose water. Spray onto teeth and in the mouth and gargle for 30-60 seconds before brushing your teeth in the morning.
Not only will this recipe kill the bacteria that cause bad breath, but it will also help to whiten teeth as well. In case you need further proof—don’t hesitate to contact me directly, schedule an appointment, and we’ll arrange a time and place where I will gladly let you smell my breath…for a small fee of course 🙂

I’m a smoker and hate that smokey-ash-tray taste in my mouth. I know, I know, just quite right? Well no, so this post was a great find! I’ll look out for the rose water on my next grocery shop. Do you know how the mixture gets rid of the dragon breath exactly?? The worse smell is when you can just smell and -know- that the person hasn’t brushed their teeth in like forever, it almost smells like metal?? Maybe it’s just my nose hah
It mostly works by naturally killing the bad breath bacteria in your mouth. Similar to mouthwash, but we all know most mouthwash fades after about 5-10 minutes.
Super easy recipe! I worry about my breath sometimes…as most people do. Maybe this will help me feel more confident!

Give it a try and let me know what you think!
This sounds way better than what’s on the market. I mean, we all know what we use as mouthwash originated as a general cleaning product 😀 They are not even hiding that fact (just check Listerine history). Your sounds easy and effective.
Thanks. Give it a try when you have a chance and let me know what you think 🙂
This mouthwash is just perfect! I might as well give it as a gift to my uncle. Well he will get the point!
Zaria
Haha…That would definitely be a gift he could put to good use!
Hahahahahahaha!!!! There is someone I know with breath like that, who NEVER wants to stop talking! It is the worst thing when you have to hold your breath not to smell THEIR breath!
LOL I know exactly what you mean!!
This is extra incentive to carry breath mints. I pop one, and offer the speaker with bad breath one. If they do not take one, I continue to as, are you sure?
Haha…and sometimes you just have to take one first and then insist they have one as well because “you don’t want to be rude.” 🙂
I’m gonna try some of these helpful tips !:) I’ll do this the first thing in the morning to get a kisses from my bae hehe
